ABOUT US
MEET JULIE-ANNE
Founder and CEO
In 2010, frustrated by her corporate 9-5 role as a Chartered Surveyor, Founder and CEO Julie-Anne Robertson decided to pursue her passion for Design and launch her own Event Design Company, EPIC Events along with sister company EPIC Property Staging.
Specialising in weddings, corporate events, and private parties, Julie-Anne had a clear ambition to change the face of weddings and events across Ireland by introducing new brave and innovative design concepts, working closely with our fashion forward EPIC Events client’s to allow them to dream bigger and achieve more than what was currently being offered in existing local markets.
Since then, Julie-Anne and her dedicated team have produced award-winning celebrations for high profile clients throughout Ireland, North and South, and have been featured in publications such as One Fab Day, Ulster Tatler, The Public Eye, The Wedding Journal and more.
As well as leading the EPIC Events teams, Julie-Anne is wife to Gary and mum to Max, Tom and Anna. As a working mum she is dedicated to creating a positive example of incorporating hard work, passion and creativity in everything you do, inspiring others along the way to take a leap and work for something you genuinely love.
Meet our ePIC Team
Professional? Absolutely! Experienced? Of course! And we are still so much more than this! We are a diverse group of talented individuals, each with unique strengths, who work together to create incredible experiences for each of our clients. We’re a family. Meet a few of the faces behind EPIC Events.
Director of Operations
Caroline Bell
Caroline is the face behind the scenes that keeps the EPIC engine running smoothly across both EPIC Events and sister Company EPIC Property Staging. She’s also Julie-Anne, our CEO’s mum, and affectionately referred to as the “real boss” around the office. Working closely with Julie-Anne at EPIC since it’s inception in 2010, Caroline’s previous experience as a School Vice Principal prove invaluable in keeping the EPIC team in line with the threat of detention for bad behaviour. She lives and breathes by the motto to check everything twice. When she’s not working Caroline can be found spending time with her Grandchildren, gardening or sipping on a cold G&T!
Associate Director
Jayne McRoberts
After planning her own wedding with EPIC in 2017 Jayne made the leap to join the team as Event Sales and Marketing Assistant in 2019. Jayne quickly established herself as a key member of the EPIC family with a passion for events and genuine enthusiasm to deliver next level customer service, recognised in 2023 when she was promoted to an Associate Director. Working closely with our CEO Julie-Anne, Jayne works diligently to push boundaries in our event delivery and make each and every client experience one to remember. Outside EPIC, Jayne is mum to adorable Millie and Arthur and wife to Ainsley. She is also usually responsible for encouraging a Friday afternoon office tipple to round off an EPIC week.
Senior Event Stylist
Elvyra Juciene
Since joining the team in 2014 Elvyra has become an integral part of the EPIC family, working on all aspects of event and floral design. Always cool under pressure, boasting an impressive eye for design and an acute attention to detail, means Elvyra is always someone you want in your corner during any busy event season. As if this wasn’t enough Elvyra is also fluent in 4 languages and when not at EPIC loves to travel all over the globe.
Lead Florist
Romaine Hodgen
After working for over 20 years as a freelance florist Romaine joined EPIC to become the lead in-house floral designer in 2023. With a passion for all things floral, a background in interior design and a love for the finer things in life, Romaine was the perfect fit to guide our fashion forward, risk taking clients on the best approach for their fresh floral designs. When not knee deep in flowers Romaine can be found enjoying a chilled glass of wine after a long walk and a home cooked Sunday roast.
Event Planner
John Mathews
With over 25 years experience in Hospitality Management, working in some of Ireland’s most prestigious venues, John is an invaluable asset to the EPIC team, supporting our wedding and event clients on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly, professionally, and always with a little craic thrown in for good measure. When not at EPIC John can be found photographing his way around Ireland, always in shorts rain, hail or shine!
Client Account Manager
Michelle Carter
After working as a Customer Trading Manager for a number of years for a National Retailer, Michelle started her career with EPIC in 2023 as Client Account Manager. Her organisation skills, spreadsheet ninja qualities and ability to stay calm in any situation make her a pivotal coil in the EPIC wheel. When not at EPIC Michelle enjoys nothing more than spending time with her two gorgeous kids Mille and Ethan, and husband Glenn.
